Can I Use an Extension Cord With My ReGen8 Sauna?Updated 3 hours ago

Yes, an extension cord can be used with a ReGen8 sauna if the existing power cord cannot reach the wall outlet. However, we recommend connecting the sauna directly to a wall power point wherever possible.

For safe operation:

  • Use a standard Australian power outlet with the correct voltage and electrical capacity required for the sauna.
  • Do not connect the sauna to a shared power board with other appliances or equipment.
  • If an extension cord is required, use a suitable heavy-duty cord with the correct cable size for your sauna model.
  • We recommend using appropriate surge protection.
  • Keep the extension cord as short as practical and ensure it is fully extended/uncoiled during use.
  • For outdoor saunas, the plug, socket connection and extension cord must be protected from rain, water and moisture at all times.

Extension Cord Specifications

Use a 3 × 2.5 mm² extension cord for the following models:

  • ReGen8 Quadro Indoor - 4 Person Infrared Sauna
  • ReGen8 Quadro Outdoor - 4 Person Infrared Sauna
  • ReGen8 Quadro Corner - 4 Person Infrared Sauna
  • ReGen8 Trio Outdoor - 3 Person Infrared Sauna

This requirement applies to White, Natural and Thermowood finishes, where available.

All Other ReGen8 Sauna Models
For all other ReGen8 sauna models, a 3 × 1.5 mm² extension cord is suitable, including the ReGen8 Solo V2 and Duo Outdoor.

Important: Always ensure the extension cord and outlet are appropriately rated for the sauna's electrical requirements. Never use a damaged extension cord, and keep all outdoor electrical connections completely protected from rain and moisture.
