How do you keep the water clean for the water rower?Updated 10 months ago

Here are some handy tips to keep your tank clean:

  • Location:

    • Place your rower away from direct sunlight as this will prevent algae growth.
  • Use Water Purification Tablets:

    • Add water purification (Chlorine & Bromine Free) tablets to the tank. These tablets are specifically designed to prevent algae and bacteria growth. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for dosage and frequency, typically adding a tablet every 3-6 months.
  • Use Distilled Water:

    • If possible, use distilled water when initially filling the tank. Distilled water contains fewer impurities that can promote algae and bacteria growth.
  • Regular Inspections:

    • Periodically inspect the water for any signs of cloudiness, discoloration, or algae growth. If you notice any issues, it may be time to change the water.
  • Water Changes:

    • Change the water at least once a year, or more frequently if needed. To change the water, follow these steps:
      1. Drain the existing water from the tank.
      2. Rinse the tank with clean water to remove any residue.
      3. Refill the tank with fresh water and add water purification tablets.
  • Keep the Tank Sealed:

    • Ensure the tank is properly sealed when not in use to prevent contaminants from entering the water.
