Have I been charged twice for my order?Updated a year ago
At Lifespan we will always provide an order number and emailed receipt for every payment purchase.
If you have received only one order or receipt then the payment was only charged once by Lifespan.
If you see a "pending transaction" and a payment charge on your bank account, rest assured the pending transaction is not a charge unless it is processed.
What is a Pending transaction?
A pending transaction may occur to check if your account has enough money. The pending transaction will then get processed and you will see a charge on your card. In some occasions the financial institute may process payment without processing from the original pending transaction. This leaves the pending transaction as un-processed.
What happens if your pending transaction is still present on your account, after payment is charged?
Pending transactions normally fall off your card if it is not processed by the bank. This will take 3-5 business days but some can take up to 10 business days.
Can Lifespan remove the pending transaction?
Unfortunately, on our end we cannot see the pending transaction so we cannot remove or refund a pending transaction. We would need you to contact your bank but generally this transaction will fall off your account with time.
